About this site
HyperFastTrain is a personal journal about high-speed rail — written slowly, published irregularly, and not affiliated with any operator or manufacturer.
Most posts start as notes taken on a train: a timetable oddity, a piece of trackside equipment, a question about why a particular curve is banked the way it is. Some of them turn into longer pieces.
Corrections
Railway facts age badly. If something here is out of date or simply wrong, corrections are welcome and will be noted at the foot of the relevant post.
